“Our partnership with America’s Freedom Center is extremely significant because it brings real life meaning to freedom in the United States, for our children. It helps our students understand and appreciate how important freedom is by educating our students to how many men and women it takes to secure that freedom, whether it’s with their dedication to the armed forces or at the cost of their own lives to maintain that freedom. The Freedom Center has unselfishly brought classroom resources and veteran speakers to the school for classroom use. These resources give our students and staff a once in a lifetime opportunity by hearing first-hand accounts of World War II and viewing actual artifacts from the war. The excitement expressed by staff, students and parents is an extraordinary sight to see.”
